Job Summary

Epic Travel Staffing is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team. As a CT Tech, you will be responsible for performing high-quality CT scans using prescribed techniques and protocols.

Responsibilities
  • Review requisitions to ensure completeness and accuracy
  • Adjust equipment and select technical factors to produce optimal radiographic exposure
  • Utilize standard positioning techniques to obtain diagnostic images
  • Select appropriate protocols for each CT scan procedure
  • Ensure proper levels of density and contrast are utilized to obtain optimal quality images
  • Perform scanning procedures of various organs to localize site of pathological process
  • Document administration of contrast and scans paperwork into Cerner
  • Complete examination in a timely manner and order IV and oral contrast as needed
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years experience in CT scanning
  • Experience in abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, brain perfusion, CTAs, multiplanar reconstruction
  • BLS and AART certification
  • Preferred experience in aspirations/biopsies, colography, CT arthrography, drainage, myelography, transplant studies, PET/CT

Estimated Weekly Rate: $2452 per week
