Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Mother Baby unit at Mount Sinai Health System. This is a contract assignment that offers competitive pay and benefits. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maternal-child nursing, including experience with postpartum and antepartum care, labor & delivery, and new baby nursery care.

The Registered Nurse (RN) will work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care, developing, implementing, and evaluating the plan of care as needed. Key responsibilities include:
  • Assessing and evaluating patient care needs, applying critical thinking skills in patient care management
  • Providing education to patients and caregivers regarding their plan of care, health promotion, disease prevention, and transition of care
  • Communicating effectively and professionally with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary patient care team

Essential Requirements:
  • NYS RN License Required
  • BLS Certification
  • Minimum 2 years postpartartum and antepartum experience
