About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Second Shift Technician to join our team at Mediacom Communications Corporation. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining our cable television and broadband services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and maintain cable television and broadband services in customer homes and businesses
  • Drive company vehicles and use bucket trucks to access customer locations
  • Analyze picture quality and judge acceptability of picture delivered following installation of cable service
  • Use customary CATV hand and power tools in performance of job duties
  • Read signal levels through use of field strength meter and add and subtract levels in installation problems
  • Install connectors on different types of drop cable and climb poles with proper equipment
  • Inform customers of FCC Rules and Company policies as they pertain to customers
Requirements
  • General level of mechanical and consumer devices knowledge
  • Ability to work flexible work hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required
