Pastry Artisan

We're seeking a talented Pastry Artist to join our team at Nothing Bundt Cakes. As a key member of our bakery team, you'll create beautiful and delicious cakes that bring joy to our customers.

Job Summary: As a Pastry Artist, you'll be responsible for making our signature frosting and applying it to our cakes using creative and precise techniques.

About the Role:

• You will work closely with our team to ensure consistency and quality in every cake that leaves our bakery.
• You will follow our proprietary frosting recipe and application methods with precision to achieve productivity goals.
• You will effectively utilize measuring instruments, commercial-grade mixers, and pastry bags to frost cakes.
• You will prioritize cake pre-orders according to schedule and frost cakes for walk-in guest orders accordingly.
• You will maintain an adequate supply of samples and frosted cakes in the bakery display case.
• You will adhere to proper packaging, labeling, and storage of frosted cakes as well as product rotation standards.
• You will monitor inventory of frosting supplies and notify management when replenishment is required.
• You will evaluate baked and frosted cakes to ensure NbC standards are met.
• You will clean, sanitize, and restock your workstation, ensuring frosting supplies are prepared for the next shift.
• You will comply with all health and safety guidelines and NbC policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• You must be 18 years of age or older.
• Previous experience in an operational support role at a bakery or restaurant is a plus.
