Job Overview

Absolute Lock and Security is seeking a skilled Commercial Locksmith to join our team as a Sub-Contractor Locksmith Technician. This contract position will involve providing locksmith services, low-voltage electrical work, and problem-solving for commercial locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide locksmith services for commercial properties, including installation, repair, and re-keying of locks.
  • Offer recommendations on industry best practices for locking devices and hardware applications and installations.
  • Maintain a basic inventory of spare parts and components for supported devices.
  • Install, repair, and re-key cylinders; evaluate and repair door locks; fabricate and provide maintenance in a timely manner.
Requirements:
  • Must have and maintain a current State Locksmith documentation and be proficient in all aspects of locksmith services.
  • Ability to re-key and repair desks and file cabinets.
  • Must be able to cut keys by code.
  • Experienced with commercial panic/exit hardware.
  • Experienced with low-voltage work preferred.
  • Experience with door closers.
  • Must possess excellent troubleshooting skills.
  • Must be able to work with little supervision and drive to job locations quickly and efficiently.
