Job Summary

Hickory Mechanical Inc. is seeking an experienced HVAC installation specialist to join our team as a ductwork expert. This role involves preparing, fabricating, and installing ductwork to specifications, ensuring the highest level of quality and safety standards.

Job Responsibilities
  • Prepare, fabricate, and install ductwork to specifications
  • Install hangars and supports according to plans and applicable specifications
  • Refrigerant piping, duct installation, and gas piping
  • Read blueprints and specifications to determine the scope of work: locations, quantities, and sizes of materials required
  • Follow applicable safety rules, regulations, guidelines, policies, and safety plans
  • Maintain a well-stocked and organized Sheet Metal shop
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to climb a ladder and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
  • Pass Drug screen and background check
  • Troubleshooting background and skills
  • Knowledgeable in installation, cleaning, modifying, and operating HVAC equipment
  • Willingness to undergo training and certification programs
Compensation and Benefits
  • Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year
