Job Title: Electro-Mechanical Systems Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled Electro-Mechanical Systems Engineer to join our team at Corporate Temps. This is a direct hire role with full benefits from day one, paying $25/hour.
About the Job:
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electro-mechanical systems. They will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems to determine root cause of issue and recommend corrective action.
Responsibilities:
- Designing, developing, and testing electro-mechanical systems.
- Troubleshooting electrical and mechanical problems to determine root cause of issue and recommend corrective action.
- Installing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical, electronic, and electro-mechanical assemblies/sub-assemblies and systems.
- Performing required repairs to return unit/system to operational state.
- Setting up and testing Systems, sub-systems, and units to meet specified requirements.
- Recognizing failures and setting up problems, isolating problems, and taking appropriate action to resolve those problems.
- Operating oscilloscopes, generators, meters, power supplies, service monitors, and test fixture, and understanding their use and function.
- Keeping Supervisor informed of all unresolved and/or potential problems that would negatively affect production schedules.
- May conducting detailed experimental testing.
- Electronic & mechanical assembly.
- Installing components, units, and printed circuit boards following specifications.
- Making adjustments or repairs according to written specifications.
- Fabricating parts, cables, and test fixtures.
- Maintaining and writing work procedures and related documentation for each task performed.
- Performing other job duties as required.
Requirements:
- Familiar with linear and non-linear theory, parallel and series circuits, Ohm's law, and other electronic theory.
- Possess clear, verbal, and written communication.
- Must have experience using the following equipment: DVM, oscilloscopes, recorders, hand tools (such as soldering irons, hand crimpers, screwdrivers, wrenches, and pliers).
- Must be able to exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- An Associate's Degree or 4+ years equivalent technical experience and/or military technical training is required.
