Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Sourcing Agent to join our team at Utilimaster in Bristol, IN. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for procuring production materials while fostering supplier relationships and driving continuous improvement efforts.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Negotiating costs with suppliers to ensure optimal value for the business
  • Ensuring supply continuity and resolving any issues that may arise
  • Leveraging data analysis to drive business growth and improve supplier performance
  • Partnering with cross-functional teams to understand and meet business needs
  • Fostering relationships with suppliers to drive continuous improvement

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Materials Management, Finance, Engineering, or Operations
  • At least 3 years of experience in a professional procurement role, preferably with exposure to manufacturing processes and commodities
  • Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and other relevant tools
