Your Role:As a Healthcare Provider Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP), you will support the delivery of medical services to individuals under the guidance of healthcare professionals, addressing behavioral health concerns.
Your responsibilities will include coordinating patient care, performing assessments, formulating plans, executing interventions, and ensuring adherence to regulations at all levels of government.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct daily sick calls, treatments, and adhere to protocols
- Provide emergency medical care and facilitate patient transfers
- Perform minor surgical procedures, suture removals, and laceration repairs
- Manage non-psychotic behavioral health conditions
- Engage in Quality Management activities and document findings
Education: Completion of a master's program in nursing (NPs) or an accredited PA program. Experience: Minimum of two (2) years in a correctional or detention environment. Licenses/Certifications: Current state license, DEA registration, BLS and PALS certifications.
