Job Title: Speech Language Therapist

Job Summary

The Speech Language Therapist will be part of an inter-professional team that follows a collaborative treatment model. The therapist will provide diagnostic, remedial and consultative services for children with communicative disorders; determine specific needs of children who display speech, language and hearing difficulties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete comprehensive speech and language assessments and ongoing progress reports
  • Plan and develop evidence-based interventions
  • Provide center-based and telepractice direct and indirect speech and language therapy
  • Provide AAC services including assessment, intervention, maintenance, and programming
  • Plan and facilitate social skills groups
  • Complete clinical documentation for ongoing treatment planning and insurance billing
  • Provide consultation and coaching to Behavior Technicians
  • Communicate with parents and other stakeholders regularly
  • Collaborate regularly with BCBAs
  • Provide parent and staff trainings


Requirements

  • Graduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience working with children with communicative disorders
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices in speech and language therapy
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of an inter-professional team
