We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our Home Health team. As a key member of our care team, you will work closely with our occupational therapists to provide high-quality care to our patients in the comfort of their own homes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide therapy services as planned and delegated by the occupational therapist, ensuring patient safety and well-being.
- Assist in the implementation of vocational and educational programs to promote patient independence and self-sufficiency.
- Design and adapt equipment and environments to enhance patient function and participation in daily activities.
- Provide therapeutic treatment and instruction to patients, as directed by the occupational therapist, to improve strength, coordination, and range of motion.
- Document patient progress and report observations to the occupational therapist and clinical supervisor.
- Current and unrestricted OTA licensure
- Minimum of six months occupational therapist assistant experience preferred
- Home Health experience a plus
- Current CPR certification
- Good organizational and communication skills
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
