We are seeking a skilled Deli Clerk to join our team at Stop & Shop. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced retail environment.

About the Role:

The Deli Clerk will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the deli department, preparing and serving food products, and providing exceptional customer service. You will also be expected to work effectively with other members of the store team to achieve sales goals and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all health and safety standards.
  • Preparing and serving food products, including slicing meats and cheeses.
  • Providing exceptional customer service, answering questions, and making recommendations.
  • Working effectively with other members of the store team to achieve sales goals and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.


Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work well under pressure and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Experience in a retail or food service environment, preferably in a deli or bakery setting.
