About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Plumber Apprentice to join our team at Ace Hardware Home Services. As a Plumber Apprentice, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest level of quality in our plumbing services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support a team of experienced plumbers in the field, learning from them and developing your skills.
  • Perform manual labor tasks, such as digging, climbing, and carrying heavy items, while maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Assist the warehouse staff with inventory management and equipment maintenance.
  • Develop strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers, providing them with clear explanations of plumbing issues and solutions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Work collaboratively with teammates to achieve common goals and objectives.
  • Be flexible and willing to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training or certification in plumbing a plus.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, climb, stoop, bend, kneel, and reach in all directions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
