Tampa Florida Kenworth Detailer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Detailer to join our team at Tampa Florida Kenworth. As a Detailer, you will be responsible for refurbishing new and used vehicles to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and refurbish new and used diesel trucks to ensure they are in excellent condition for sale.
  • Wash vehicle exteriors using a pressure washer and apply wax to polish and buff surfaces to protect and preserve shine.
  • Vacuum interiors of trucks to remove loose dirt and debris using a vacuum cleaner.
  • Clean upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces using cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices.
  • Apply revitalizers and preservatives to vinyl or leather surfaces and treat fabrics with spot and stain-resistant chemicals to preserve and protect interior components.
  • Apply special-purpose cleaners to remove foreign materials that do not respond to normal cleaning procedures, utilizing experience and following recommendations of product manufacturers.
  • Stage trucks for sale.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma required; Associate's degree (AA) preferred.
  • Must have a CDL - class A or B and a clean driving record.
  • Industry/Heavy-duty equipment knowledge preferred.
  • Ability to work in a dealership environment with frequent exposure to weather elements.
  • Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, stoop, and/or lift/move up to 75 lbs on a regular basis.
  • Ability to work 8-10 hour days, including overtime hours as needed.
