Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Ollie's Bargain Outlet, Inc. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and assisting with sales and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet and acknowledge every customer with a positive and friendly attitude, building long-term customer loyalty and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Cash Handling: Accurately and efficiently manage cash register transactions, handling customer payments and returns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Store Operations: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including receiving and stocking merchandise, and assisting with inventory management.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of our products, including weekly deals and promotions, to effectively assist customers and drive sales.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: Happy to train new associates who may not have prior retail experience.
  • Availability: Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.
  • Skills: Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a team player mentality.
Physical Requirements
  • Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Pushing and Pulling: Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.
