Job Overview:

V2X is in search of a dedicated Spectrum Manager to oversee the procurement, allocation, and safeguarding of radio frequencies essential for spectrum-dependent systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, submit, and monitor frequency proposals and allocations for Navy Radar and Communication systems utilizing Spectrum XXI.
  • Assess and coordinate host nation supportability requirements, contributing to spectrum supportability risk assessments (SSRA).
  • Conduct comprehensive 5-year reviews of frequency allocations.
  • Analyze potential impacts on Navy communication systems resulting from planned alterations to Radio Regulations.
  • Facilitate experimental frequency proposals for Navy system evaluations.
  • Investigate and assess characteristics and performance criteria of spectrum-dependent systems.
  • Draft and prepare Spectrum Support documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Proficient in spectrum management tools and databases.
  • Experience in developing spectrum certification in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Familiarity with DoD spectrum-related systems and compliance requirements.
  • Active US DoD Secret Level Security Clearance is mandatory.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
