Key Responsibilities- Direct Child Care: Provide high-quality care to children with special needs, including those who are medically or technologically dependent.
- Parent/Child Education and Training: Educate and train parents on how to care for their children, promoting a positive and supportive environment.
- Developmental Interventions: Develop and implement individualized care plans to promote the physical, emotional, and cognitive development of our clients.
- Patient Safety and Environment: Ensure a safe and healthy environment for our clients, including maintaining accurate records and reporting any incidents or concerns.
- Supervision and Leadership: Supervise and mentor less experienced nursing staff, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing or Diploma with two years of pediatric specialty care experience.
- Licensure: Current, active license to practice in Florida.
- Experience: Minimum of two years experience in general pediatrics, with at least six months experience caring for medically or technologically dependent children.
- Certifications: Annual Pediatric CPR certification.
