Job Summary:
Nanticoke Health Services is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Tech to join our team in the Cardiac Cath Lab. As a Cath Lab Tech, you will be responsible for assisting in the performance of cardiac catheterization procedures, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the cath lab, including the setup and operation of equipment.
- Provide technical support during cardiac catheterization procedures, including the insertion and removal of catheters.
- Monitor and maintain patient vital signs during procedures.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and staff satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Current state license as a Cath Lab Tech.
- At least 2 years of recent experience as a Cath Lab Tech.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
