Knowhirematch is seeking a highly skilled Automation Systems Specialist to join our team in Tonganoxie, Kansas.

Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing on-shift technical support and contributing to the development, implementation, and maintenance of plant floor control systems, information systems, network, and telecommunication systems at our Hill's Tonganoxie Plant.

Key duties include:

  • Maintaining and troubleshooting Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) including Allen Bradley ControlLogix and GuardLogix, Wonderware-based Human Machine Interfaces (HMI), or Panelview.
  • Troubleshooting plant floor electrical, control, and pneumatics components including vision systems, industrial and collaborative robots, valves, motors, loop controllers, solenoids, control system I/O (Flex IO and Point IO).
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess a Bachelor's Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical systems discipline.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • At least 2 years of manufacturing experience.
  • Experience with troubleshooting Wonderware/AVEVA System Platform.
  • Experience working with Microsoft SQL databases.
  • Ability to program and troubleshoot Allen Bradley PLCs, Panelview OIT.
  • Experience using Industrial Networks (Ethernet, Ethernet/IP, HART).
  • Ability to troubleshoot and commission Variable Frequency AC Drives, 3-phase motor starters, solenoids, control valves, flowmeters, servo motors and drives, analog sensors (pressure, level, temperature), load cells.
  • Familiarity with Cisco architecture and infrastructure (basic LAN concepts).
