Silicone Extrusion Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Extruder Operator to join our team at Rogers Corporation. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for setting up and monitoring manufacturing parameters to ensure the safe and efficient production of silicone extruded rubber products.

• Set up and monitor all manufacturing parameters to ensure safe and efficient production
• Adjust machines for proper extrusion and winder operation
• Measure and gauge material thickness using micrometers and quality control instruments
• Record inventory material usage and maintain accurate records
• Perform scheduled housekeeping and maintain a clean production area
• Conduct in-process inspection and testing to ensure product quality and traceability
• Communicate with quality, shipping, and value-added departments regarding product quality and material availability
• Participate in training new employees and contribute to a positive team environment

• Proficient computer skills
• Experience with inventory systems
• Basic mechanical aptitude
