We are seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Transport Registered Nurse to join our team at Ascension St. Vincent. As a Critical Care Transport RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care during transport between facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Perform assessment and stabilization of patients, as well as any necessary diagnostic and therapeutic interventions.
- Assure quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards and making necessary adjustments in collaboration with team members and multidisciplinary teams.
- Participate in decision-making and partner with the multidisciplinary team to enhance operational efficiency.
- Complete all appropriate medical documentation.
- May be required to drive an ambulance to transport patients and/or supplies.
- Licensure/Certification/Registration:
- Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 months of hire date or job transfer date required.
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date required.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Drivers License preferred.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred.
- Education:
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire. Minimum qualification: Three years of experience in Emergency Department and/or ICU.
