Key Responsibilities- Profile and analyze source data from mainframe extracts, flat files, SQL Server, and web services using Informatica ETL.
- Analyze and evaluate data sources, data volume, and business rules to ensure accurate data transformation.
- Automate job scheduling, dependencies, and monitoring to ensure seamless data flow.
- Extract, transform, and load data using ETL tools, ensuring data integrity and quality.
- Configure and script business rules and transformation rules in Informatica, adhering to company standards.
- Design and develop ETL Informatica jobs according to business requirements, ensuring efficient data processing.
- Understand the data model, design the model for EDW, map the data, and run ETL jobs to ensure data accuracy.
- Ensure appropriate unit testing and system testing of all deliverables to ensure quality.
- Understand the deployment process of both Informatica PowerCenter and IICS jobs, ensuring smooth deployment.
- Knowledge of version control tools like Bitbucket, Git, and understanding of branching and check-in of code.
- Defect fixes for system test, operational acceptance test, and production, ensuring timely resolution.
- Good experience in defect tracking tools.
- Experience in designing and implementing complex ETL processes.
- Proficient in writing complex SQL queries.
- Good understanding of traditional RDBMS systems like SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata, etc.
- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and performance-tuning skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Any graduate with a degree in engineering or science.
- A great communicator of ideas and solutions, with a lateral thinker's approach to complex performance or production issues.

- To ensure process compliance in the assigned module, and participate in technical discussions or reviews as a technical consultant for feasibility studies (technical alternatives, best packages, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, estimations).
- To collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and accordingly prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure and closure of escalations.
