Position Summary:This role is essential in delivering personal assistance to individuals residing in Independent Living and Assisted Living settings. We seek candidates who embody our core values of Hospitality, Excellence, Appreciation, Respect, and Teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform Home Making Services as needed, including: making beds, washing dishes, tidying living spaces, organizing personal belongings, laundering clothing and linens, grocery shopping, and preparing meals.
- Offer additional support as required by residents.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided in daily reports, to be completed and submitted at the end of each shift.
- Participate in all mandatory training sessions, in-service programs, and staff meetings.
- Promote a safe working environment by preventing accidents, preserving equipment, and adhering to safe working practices.
- Exhibit a positive and professional attitude towards residents, visitors, families, and colleagues.
Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
Field of Study: General Education.
Experience: 0-1+ years in a similar role.
Type of Experience: General patient care in a healthcare facility or home setting.
Language Proficiency: Ability to understand and communicate effectively in English.
Personal Qualities: Demonstrated patience and compassion for the elderly population.
