Retail Meat Handler

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Retail Meat Handler to join our team at Strack and Van Til. As a key member of our grocery department, you will be responsible for handling and stocking meat products in a safe and efficient manner. This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced retail environment and contribute to the success of our store.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect meat products for freshness and quality
- Receive shipments and restock inventory
- Face merchandise in the department to create an appealing display
- Fill shelves and cases with stock as needed
- Assist customers with their purchases and answer any questions they may have
Requirements:
- A positive customer service attitude and pleasant personality
- Effective memory skills and ability to follow directions
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and ability to lift heavy objects
- Dependability and strong willingness to learn

- Normal exposure to weather and temperature extremes
- Exposure to cooler and freezer does not exceed 1 hour at a time
