We are seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN to join our team at Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center Crisis Response. As a Cardiac Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced cardiac unit.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to cardiac patients, including those with congestive heart failure, arrhythmias, and post-cardiac catheterization.
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, and titrate cardiac drips as needed.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Current RN licensure in the state of North Carolina.
- At least 2 years of experience in a cardiac care setting, with a focus on telemetry and PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Ability to work a 3x12-hour shift schedule, with flexibility to work 36 or 48 hours per week.
- Willingness to float to other units as needed.
- Ability to work a minimum of 13 weeks and a maximum of 26 weeks.
- National Institutes of Health (NIH) certification.
- Charge experience in a cardiac care setting.
