We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Donation Attendant to join our team at Redesign 101 Store (101 & W Thunderbird). As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for leading an excellent customer and brand experience, promoting sales, and ensuring a seamless donation process.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all donors and customers.
- Accurately label and process donations, maintaining a high level of organization and efficiency in the production room.
- Offer receipts to donors, ensuring they receive proper documentation for their donations.
- Identify and address any potential hazardous products being donated, providing customers with safe disposal options.
- Process sales tickets and sold signs for large items, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Assist customers with loading and unloading furniture or other items, providing a safe and efficient experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to PPM standards.
- Operate pallet jack and walkie stacker safely and efficiently, ensuring a smooth workflow.
- Conduct daily safety inspections on company-owned equipment, ensuring compliance with safety rules and regulations.
- Perform other related duties as assigned, supporting the overall success of our store team.
- Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on providing a positive experience for all customers.
- Ability to pass a forklift certification class, ensuring safe and efficient operation of equipment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on meeting sales and productivity goals.
- High school diploma or equivalent required, with a focus on customer service and sales experience.
