Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Firefighter/Paramedic to join our team at the Indianapolis Airport Authority. As a Firefighter/Paramedic, you will be responsible for responding to emergency calls on airport property, providing advanced life support care to patients, and operating fire and rescue equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to emergency calls on airport property, including fires, medical emergencies, and other incidents
  • Provide advanced life support care to patients, including administering medications and performing procedures
  • Operate fire and rescue equipment, including trucks and other vehicles
  • Conduct inspections of fire and rescue equipment to ensure it is in good working order
  • Participate in continuous physical and mental training to maintain certification and stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and procedures
Requirements
  • Graduation from a standard high school or vocational school or successful completion of a high school equivalency exam
  • Certification as a Paramedic and Firefighter II
  • Valid driver's license and a demonstrated good driving record
  • Ability to perform all the physical and cognitive tasks outlined in the job description
