Firefighter/Paramedic

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Firefighter/Paramedic to join our team at the Indianapolis Airport Authority. As a Firefighter/Paramedic, you will be responsible for responding to emergency calls on airport property, providing advanced life support care to patients, and operating fire and rescue equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to emergency calls on airport property, including fires, medical emergencies, and other incidents
- Provide advanced life support care to patients, including administering medications and performing procedures
- Operate fire and rescue equipment, including trucks and other vehicles
- Conduct inspections of fire and rescue equipment to ensure it is in good working order
- Participate in continuous physical and mental training to maintain certification and stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and procedures
- Graduation from a standard high school or vocational school or successful completion of a high school equivalency exam
- Certification as a Paramedic and Firefighter II
- Valid driver's license and a demonstrated good driving record
- Ability to perform all the physical and cognitive tasks outlined in the job description
As a Firefighter/Paramedic, you will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, responding to emergency calls and providing critical care to patients. You will also work in a team environment, collaborating with other firefighters and emergency responders to respond to incidents and provide support to the community.
