About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled EEG Technologist to join our team at LifePoint Health. As an EEG Technologist, you will be responsible for performing accurate and timely neuro-diagnostic testing and applying EEG leads. You will interpret and perform basic patient care procedures to assess quality-testing specific to your area of expertise, in accordance with medical staff-approved protocols, physician orders, regulatory requirements, departmental policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Assure accurate and timely neuro-diagnostic testing and/or application of EEG leads.
• Interpret and perform basic patient care procedures to assess quality-testing specific to your area of expertise.
• Participate in the daily operation of the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit.
• Meet age-specific requirements (neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric).

Requirements:

• Post-secondary training or college education in a science or health-related field.
• Previous experience in Electroencephalography or an allied health care/life sciences field.
• Basic Life Support.
