We are seeking a skilled Cardiology Tech to join our team at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas.

Job Summary

The Cardiology Tech is responsible for providing timely and accurate EKG and EEG studies. This role requires a high degree of competency in the operation of all equipment in the Department, including trouble-shooting and minor repair.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provides quality EKG and EEG tracings services utilizing diagnostic principles per department policies and procedures.
  • Maintains high degree of competency in the operation of all equipment in the Department to include trouble-shooting and minor repair.
  • Records all diagnostic test information accurately and thoroughly on proper records for physician's review and evaluation.
  • Reports critical values per department policy and procedure.
  • Documents patient education.
  • Facilitates communication between the Cardiac Diagnostic Services Department and members of the Medical Staff and other Hospital Departments to enhance patient care services.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 6 months in related field.
