Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Logistics Coordinator - Product Verification to join our team at Sysco Kansas City, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for verifying product returned, customers signed the invoice, and possible missed deliveries, accounting for pallets, totes, and other company property is returned. They will also inspect all products returns, document appropriate information for efficient processing of items, and ensure food safety protocols were followed on the return and coordinate with Food Safety personnel for issues.

Responsibilities

* Verify product returned, customers signed the invoice, and possible missed deliveries;
* Account for pallets, totes, and other company property is returned;
* Inspect returned products to determine restocking appropriateness or deciding if the customer warrants the credit;
* Ensure food safety protocols were followed on the return and coordinate with Food Safety personnel for issues;
* Adjust as needed the appropriate reason code on invoice to provide efficient processing;

Requirements

* High school degree or equivalent;
* 1 year of pallet jack and/or forklift experience;
* Ability to write routine reports and correspondence;
* Solid problem-solving skills;
* Strong verbal and written communication skills;

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position is $58,000 per year.
