Position Description

We are partnering with an exceptional school district in Cary, NC to fill a contract School Speech Language Pathologist position for the 2024-2025 school year. This is a full-time opportunity with a competitive compensation package and a range of benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, PTO and holiday pay, 401(k) match, and continuing education reimbursement.

Responsibilities
  • Provide speech and language therapy services to students with special needs in a school setting
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each student
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' strengths and areas of need
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to keep them informed of their child's progress
Requirements
  • 1 year of verifiable experience as a School Speech Language Pathologist within the last 3 years
  • Valid School Speech Language Pathologist credential/license or in process in the state of practice
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced school environment and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
