Advanced Cardiac Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated Cardiac Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to become a vital part of our Heart and Vascular Institute. This role is situated within a prominent Medical Center and contributes to a nationally recognized program specializing in Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy. The ideal candidate will possess a solid foundation in general cardiology, emphasizing patient care and meticulous attention to detail. Previous experience in heart failure or interventional cardiology is highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and manage patients in an outpatient environment.
- Perform pre-admission assessments and prepare patients for interventional procedures.
- Support research initiatives and patient visits.
- Collaborate with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy specialists and coordinators to enhance patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
- Possession of a valid New York State PA or NP license.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
Monday to Friday, daytime hours
Compensation:
$120,000 - $145,000
