Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and licensed Professional Geologist (PG) to join our dynamic environmental consulting team at the Alliance of Hazardous Materials Professionals.

About the Role:

This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging projects that involve environmental site assessments, remediation, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive geological surveys and environmental site assessments to identify potential hazards and risks.
  • Develop and implement remediation strategies for soil and groundwater contamination to ensure compliance with environmental laws and regulations.
  • Prepare and review technical reports, maps, and drawings to communicate findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
  • Serve as a project lead, managing timelines, budgets, and project deliverables to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Liaise with clients, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental laws and regulations, and maintain accurate records of project activities and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or related field.
  • Valid Professional Geologist (PG) license is a must.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental consulting or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
