The Floor Technician is a key member of the DFS Global Inc. team, responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our facilities. As a Floor Technician, you will be responsible for performing custodial duties, minor maintenance, and other miscellaneous tasks to ensure our buildings and facilities are healthy, safe, and sanitary.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform custodial duties, including cleaning, disinfecting, and sanitizing surfaces, floors, and equipment
  • Conduct minor maintenance repairs and report any damages or issues to management
  • Maintain janitor closets and janitorial equipment in a clean, organized, and safe manner
  • Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools
  • Follow proper procedures for handling and disposing of chemicals and waste
  • Work effectively independently or as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; prior experience in custodial or maintenance work preferred
  • Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy objects and equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning products and procedures

Working Conditions

The Floor Technician position is a physically demanding role that requires routine walking, standing, bending, and lifting. The work environment is fast-paced and may involve exposure to chemicals, dust, and other hazards.
