Responsibilities:

\u2022 Assess students using appropriate evaluation tools, including standardized tests, clinical observations, and review of medical and educational reports.
\u2022 Develop and implement individualized therapy programs for qualifying students.
\u2022 Document screenings, evaluations, Individual Education Plans, progress reports, and other data, as required.
\u2022 Provide consultation with classroom teachers and other school staff regarding students\u2019 optional function in the school environment.
\u2022 Provide classroom programs, instruction in management techniques, adapted equipment, and environmental modifications, including the identification of architectural barriers.

Requirements:

\u2022 Master\u2019s or Doctoral Level Degree in Physical Therapy
\u2022 Active Physical Therapist State License
\u2022 CPR training preferred
\u2022 Up-to-date knowledge of treatment practices and physical therapy programs
\u2022 Excellent interpersonal communication skills
\u2022 Ability to take care of clients with different personalities
\u2022 Comfortable using a computer for various tasks
\u2022 Ability to assess patient conditions and work with treatment plans
