As a part of our extensive healthcare network, which includes various facilities and outpatient services, we are looking for a Safety and Security Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the physical security of our properties and fostering a culture of safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to security incidents, including disturbances or emergencies, ensuring the safety of all individuals on the premises.
  • Exhibit a high level of professionalism and integrity, instilling confidence through appropriate conduct and appearance.
  • Collaborate effectively with clinical teams, assisting in the management of patient movements and interventions as necessary.
  • Monitor and patrol the facility and grounds, addressing any unsafe conditions and reporting them accordingly.
  • Utilize security technology and systems, including alarms and surveillance equipment, to maintain a secure environment.
  • Conduct thorough investigations of security breaches and prepare detailed incident reports.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

Experience: A minimum of six months in a security role within a healthcare setting, or relevant military/law enforcement experience.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional security training is a plus.

Licensure: Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record, or the ability to obtain one if required.

Skills: Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written, along with proficiency in using security technology and software. Must demonstrate good judgment and the ability to handle complex situations effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:
Some college education and prior experience in security or customer service are advantageous. Certification in security tactics and equipment usage is preferred but not mandatory.
