Job SummaryThe Licensed Practical Nurse will provide direct patient care to our residents and patients, assisting them in activities of daily living under the direction and supervision of a professional nurse. Responsibilities may include:
- Implementing individualized treatment plans for each assigned resident.
- Supervising Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and participating in their evaluation.
- Overseeing Falls Program and Pressure Sore Program.
- Providing nursing services.
- Conducting and documenting thorough evaluations of each resident's medical status upon admission and throughout their course of treatment.
The Licensed Practical Nurse will be responsible for:
- Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitoring residents' medical conditions and reporting any changes to the nursing staff.
- Participating in the development and implementation of individualized care plans for each resident.
To be considered for this position, you must:
- Hold a current, unencumbered, active state license to practice as an LPN.
- Have experience in skilled nursing/rehabilitation facilities, preferably.
- Be qualified, compassionate, and dedicated to delivering high-quality care.
