Position: Floor Tech

Shift: 8:00 pm - 8:00 am

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, dust mopping, and wet mopping of various floor surfaces.
  2. Utilize equipment such as buffers and automatic scrubbers to scrub, strip, buff, wax, and polish floors.
  3. Ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained in good working condition and properly stored after use.
  4. Report any equipment or furniture that requires repair to the immediate supervisor.
  5. Maintain cleanliness and organization in utility and custodial areas.
  6. Clean and sanitize rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and locker rooms.
  7. Care for carpeted areas by vacuuming and cleaning rugs and carpets.
  8. Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, frames, door panels, sills, and ledges both inside and outside.
  9. Assist in moving furniture, equipment, fixtures, and supplies as directed.
  10. Adhere to all safety protocols while executing job duties.
  11. Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Physical Demands: The role requires regular standing, walking, and the use of hands for various tasks. Employees may need to lift or move items weighing up to 100 pounds occasionally.

Work Environment: Employees may work in conditions that are minimally wet or humid, near moving mechanical parts, and outdoors.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • 2 to 4 years of relevant experience or training.

Skills:

  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules and maintenance instructions.
  • Strong reasoning skills to address problems in standardized situations.
  • Flexibility and multitasking abilities are essential.
  • Excellent customer service skills are required.
