**Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled Mohs Technician to join our team as a Frozen Section Slide Processor. In this role, you will work closely with a Mohs Surgeon to process cancerous tissue in a laboratory setting, delivering accurate and timely results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Commuting to client's offices (1 client per day) using our company vehicle
• Setting up mobile lab prior to receiving first tissue specimen
• Receiving and performing grossing techniques to ink and embed tissue ensuring complete representation of vital margins and maintain proper orientation
• Preparing sections of human tissue for immediate examination using the frozen section technique
• Freezing, cutting, mounting, and staining tissue specimen received from Mohs surgeon
• Coverslipping slides
• Ensuring that tissue and slide preparation meet laboratory requirements
• Assisting in the training of other Mohs Technicians

**Requirements and Qualifications**

• At least 1 year of experience as a Mohs Technician required
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
• Strong interest in medical laboratory fields
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects up to 30 pounds
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs and Google Workspace
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Interest in Science, Medical, and/or Laboratory fields

**Benefits**

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $26 to $35 per hour, depending on experience. Additionally, our benefits package includes a detailed growth compensation plan, generous time off policy, and health insurance.

**Estimated Salary:** $27-$33 per hour (DOE)
