Key Responsibilities
  • Program and install building automation systems, including boiler and chiller plants, custom AHUs, and rooftop units.
  • Integrate automation systems with ancillary systems, such as HVAC and lighting controls.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with automation systems, including diagnosing and repairing electrical circuits and wiring.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and customers to discuss automation system malfunctions and provide solutions.
  • Record and report all faults, deficiencies, and other unusual occurrences, as well as the time and materials expended on work orders.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • 3+ years of experience programming and installing building automation systems.
  • Knowledge and experience programming fully programmable and application-specific controllers.
  • Knowledge of electrical circuits and wiring and operating principles of electrical devices.
  • Ability to communicate with internal teams and customers.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and written reference material.
Physical Demands
  • Must be physically able to operate a variety of machinery and equipment, including electronic and diagnostic tools.
  • Must be able to use body members to work, move, or carry objects or materials.
