Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Paraprofessional to join our team at Waukegan Community Unit School District 60. As a Paraprofessional, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational needs of our students, working closely with teachers and other staff members to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist teachers in the instruction of students with disabilities, providing individualized support and accommodations as needed.
  • Prepare materials and resources for lessons, under the direction of the teacher.
  • Participate in parent-teacher conferences and maintain open communication with parents and guardians.
  • Assist with classroom record-keeping and data collection.
  • Support the operation of classroom equipment and technology.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Paraprofessional License
  • Paraprofessional Educator Pre-Kindergarten through Age 21 Endorsement
