Job Summary

Tact Staff is seeking a highly skilled Travel Nurse RN ICU Specialist to join our team. As a critical care travel nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced ICU environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care to critically ill patients in the ICU
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs, including hemodynamic monitoring and titration of drips
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician
  • Perform various procedures, including central line placement and arterial line management
  • Participate in code blue and rapid response team activations
  • Document patient care and progress in the electronic medical record
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of West Virginia
  • Minimum of one year of ICU experience
  • ACLS and BLS certification
  • NIHSS certification preferred
  • Ability to work 36 hours per week with 12-hour shifts
  • Flexibility to float to other units, including stepdown and med-surg/telemetry
