Custodian/Janitor

At Diversified Maintenance, we are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian/Janitor to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our facilities.

The Custodian/Janitor will perform various cleaning tasks, including emptying trash and recycling, dusting and wiping down surfaces, vacuuming and mopping floors, and cleaning restrooms. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Empty trash and recycling receptacles
• Dust and wipe down all surfaces, including furniture and fixtures
• Vacuum and mop floors, including designated areas and restrooms
• Clean restrooms, including sinks, toilets, and showers, and restock supplies as needed
• Ensure all lights are turned off and doors are locked when leaving an area
• Keep closets and storage areas clean and organized
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Reliable transportation to ensure consistent dependability
• The ability to meet the physical demands of the position
• A clean background check and drug screen
