Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Delivery Driver to join our Supply Chain team at Staples, Inc. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for transporting products safely and delivering office supplies to customers on your assigned route.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport products safely and deliver office supplies to customers on your assigned route.
  • Load and unload products from your truck, ensuring efficient delivery and minimizing damage.
  • Use technology, including GPS and mobile Proof of Delivery (POD) devices, to optimize your route and ensure timely delivery.
  • Provide excellent customer service, resolving issues and answering questions to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a clean and safe vehicle, performing pre-trip vehicle inspections and reporting any maintenance concerns.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license with a safe driving history.
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
  • Basic English language skills (both verbal and written communications).
  • Ability to lift up to 70lbs, push and pull items weighing up to 400lbs, and occasionally maneuver up to 130lbs.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 1-year of truck driving experience or comparable driving experience.
  • High volume package delivery experience.
