Qualifications:
  • Experience: 5-7 years overall, with 3-5 years in relevant automated testing tools.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent significant experience in information technology and software testing.
  • Soft Skills: Team-oriented, adept at troubleshooting, and possessing strong analytical skills.
  • Essential Skills: Proficient with source control systems like Git, experienced in building and maintaining CI pipelines using Jenkins/GitLab, hands-on experience in API testing with tools like Rest Assured and Postman, Java programming, Selenium WebDriver testing frameworks, and Cucumber BDD framework. Responsibilities:
  • Engage in requirements gathering sessions to translate functional and technical requirements into detailed test cases and scripts.
  • Conduct functional, integration, system, regression, and performance testing.
  • Design, develop, and execute automation scripts for web applications and web services using approved tools.
  • Create and execute Browser UI, database, and Web service tests utilizing Java libraries, Junit, and TestNg.
  • Assess software performance and current testing methodologies, recommending process enhancements.
  • Manage defects and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.
  • Plan and estimate testing efforts in conjunction with the project team.
  • Be primarily assigned to one project while collaborating with Quality Engineering teams across multiple projects.
  • Contribute as part of an Agile team alongside developers and other stakeholders.
