Qualifications:
  • Experience: 5-7 years overall, with 3-5 years in relevant automated testing tools.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent significant experience in information technology and software testing.
  • Soft Skills: Team-oriented, adept at troubleshooting, and possessing strong analytical skills.
  • Essential Skills: Proficient with source control systems like Git, experienced in building and maintaining CI pipelines using Jenkins/GitLab, hands-on experience in API testing with tools like Rest Assured and Postman, Java programming, Selenium WebDriver testing frameworks, and Cucumber BDD framework. Familiarity with database testing, Appian, and Appian API for Selenium, as well as experience with low-code test automation tools.
  • Preferred Skills: Automation with Selenium WebDriver (Java), low-code test automation tools, AWS experience, DevOps configuration, testing automation tools for Cloud services, Salesforce knowledge, and hands-on experience with AccelQ.
Responsibilities:
  • Engage in requirements gathering sessions to translate functional and technical requirements into detailed test cases and scripts.
  • Conduct functional, integration, system, regression, and performance testing.
  • Design, develop, and execute automation scripts for web applications and web services using approved tools.
  • Create and execute Browser UI, database, and Web service tests utilizing Java libraries, Junit, and TestNg.
  • Assess software performance and current testing methodologies, recommending process enhancements.
  • Manage defects and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.
  • Plan and estimate testing efforts in conjunction with the project team.
  • Be primarily assigned to one project while collaborating with Quality Engineering teams across multiple projects.
  • Contribute as part of an Agile team alongside developers and other stakeholders.
