Job Description

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 13 years of experience in heavy civil construction, with a strong background in estimating and contract administration. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and subcontractors.

You will be responsible for:

  • Preparing detailed estimates for heavy civil construction projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and overhead costs;
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and services;
  • Collaborating with project managers and engineers to identify potential risks and opportunities for cost savings;
  • Providing expert advice on contract administration, including interpretation of plans and specifications, and negotiation of contracts;

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $145,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Additionally, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) plan with company match and employee stock purchase plan (ESPP).

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management;
  • A minimum of 13 years of experience in heavy civil construction, with a strong background in estimating and contract administration;
