Key Responsibilities:

  • Stay Up-to-Date on Agricultural Research and Trends: Stay current on the latest agricultural research, technology, and trends to ensure that our educational programs and materials are relevant and effective, meeting the evolving needs of our clients.
  • Conduct Workshops and Technical Assistance: Conduct workshops and provide technical assistance on how to construct high tunnels and promote NRCS programs and services, helping our clients to improve their agricultural practices and increase their productivity.
Qualifications:
  • Education: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Horticulture, Agricultural Education, or a related field is required.
  • Experience: Proven experience in agricultural consulting, education, or a related role is essential.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of agricultural practices, technologies, and sustainability principles is necessary, as well as excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex information for diverse audiences.
  • Additional Requirements: Experience in curriculum development and training facilitation is desirable, as well as proficiency in data analysis and the use of agricultural software and tools. The ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously is also essential, along with strong organizational and project management skills.
