Job Title: Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our team for a 13-week assignment in Tuscaloosa, AL.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced medical/surgical/telemetry environment. As a Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and develop your skills in a dynamic and supportive team.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to medical/surgical/telemetry patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians, and document patient responses and outcomes.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the physician or charge nurse.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
  • 1-3 years of experience as a Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with the healthcare team.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
