DaVita Inc. is seeking a Patient Care Technician to join our team in an outpatient dialysis center. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing safe, comfortable, and hygienic dialysis treatment to our patients suffering from end-stage renal disease or chronic kidney disease.
Responsibilities:- Direct Patient Care: Spend the majority of your day in direct one-on-one patient care to provide safe, comfortable, and hygienic dialysis treatment.
- Technician Duties: Monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment, including measuring and recording stats, patient observations, and hemodialysis machine setup.
- Building Long-Term Relationships: Develop long-term relationships with your patients, educating them on kidney dialysis-related topics and providing empathetic, compassionate care.
- Desire to Enter the Healthcare Field: A passion for caring for others in need.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: A minimum educational requirement.
- Comfortable Working Around Blood and Needles: Ability to work in a medical environment.
- Physical and Mental Ability: Ability to work long hours on your feet, with a willingness to train and work across multiple clinics as needed.
