Physician (Psychiatry) Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician (Psychiatry) to join our team at the Department of Defense. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to individuals with mental health disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Provide inpatient and outpatient services, including partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient services.
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with mental health disorders.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Conduct medical evaluations and make recommendations for diagnostic and treatment plans.
- Provide continuing follow-up care for patients with chronic mental health disorders.
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from an accredited medical school.
- Current, active, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the United States.
- Completion of an accredited residency program in psychiatry.
- Board certification in psychiatry.
- Ability to obtain and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
This position may require the incumbent to work on call during irregular work hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
